Marilyn Moss Rockefellermarilynmossrockefeller.com Last updated: June 25, 2026

Your privacy matters. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit this website, how we use it, and what rights you have over it. We keep it plain and simple — the way good writing should be.

1. Who We Are

This website is operated by Marilyn Moss Rockefeller, an independent author based in Camden, Maine, USA. If you have any questions about this policy or how your data is handled, you can reach us at:

 mmr@baldmtfarm.com

2. What Information We Collect

We only collect information you choose to give us, or that is necessary to process your order or deliver our newsletter.

a) When you make a purchase

We collect your name, email address, billing address, shipping address, and payment information. Payment transactions are processed securely through Wix Payments. We do not store your full payment card details — these are handled directly by Wix Payments in accordance with their security standards.

b) When you sign up for the newsletter

We collect your email address. That is all. We use it to send you Marilyn's Mutterings — essays, book news, event updates, and occasional dispatches from the Maine coast.

c) When you contact us

We collect your name, email address, and the content of your message, submitted through the contact form on this site.

d) Automatically collected information

When you visit this website, certain technical data is collected automatically, including your IP address, browser type, pages visited, and time spent on the site.

This is handled through Wix's built-in analytics.

Note: We plan to add Google Analytics to this website in the coming months. When we do, this policy will be updated to reflect that change. Google Analytics may collect additional usage data subject to Google's own privacy policy.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect only for the following purposes:

  • To process and fulfill your book orders

  • To send order confirmations and shipping updates

  • To send the Marilyn's Mutterings newsletter (only if you have subscribed)

  • To respond to messages you send through the contact form

  • To understand how visitors use this website and improve the experience

  • To comply with legal obligations

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
